Currently work as a full stack developer that touches various layers within the financial product initiatives for ATB. Anything from developing responsive frontend interfaces to building secure Enterprise APIs and microservices that are consumed by other internal apps and vendor services. We leverage various cloud services from GCP to achieve service level thresholds, cluster management, event monitoring, logging, data mining and analytics Ultimately these initiatives will support the long term vision of a secure and scalable API ecosystem that will help facilitate adoption of open banking, which is the ability of third parties to build applications directly around financial institutions

This project involved developing a POC (Point Of Care) diagnostic service. A radiologist/clinician would be able to upload their patient scans to Medo’s service, and perform their own analysis as well as receive a diagnosis generated by the AI engine as a response for each scan. The clinician could then make a final diagnosis using both their own analysis and the prediction generated by the AI engine. The goal of the service was to help assist the clinician in making a final decision and reduce the overall error for improper diagnosis The service allowed the clinician to view the scans in 2D/3D representations, make manual segmentations for each scan, as well as generate a mesh or point cloud that would act as a visualization of the AI engine’s output. We leveraged cloud services from AWS such as SageMaker to train and deploy our CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) models and other services such as EC2 and RDS to store our data and achieve service level thresholds
