Embedded software development for a DNA sample pre-processing device. Designed the user interface of the device by using QT. Used I2C, SPI, and MODBUS communication protocol for designing the peripheral control system. Added custom device-specific layer to Yocto embedded Linux environment. Made necessary modifications in the Linux kernel.
