Research is conducted in the field of QoE monitoring and management of Over-The-Top multimedia services using Software-Defined Networks (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and cloud computing. Following achievements are accomplished during this project: An SDN based platform for QoE-aware joint service management of OTT multimedia services through traffic engineering abstractions using Mininet and Ryu SDN controller is designed and developed Traffic Engineering solutions for QoE management of OTT multimedia services are proposed and evaluated A multi-layer solution for passive QoE monitoring at user terminal by android application development and AWS cloud services is developed OTT-ISP collaborative service management strategies and approaches with the business perspectives are proposed QoE-aware joint network and application management solutions are proposed Implementation of the business strategies/policies through Software-Defined Networking to reduce user churn is implemented Future Internet architecture for OTT-ISP collaborative service management Lead in 2 deliverables of EU project Technical presentations and talk at multiple international conferences are delivered 8 research publications
