Quantitative Analyst/Developer

Finvex is a historical European index provider, one of the first to propose ESG-based investment solutions with some indices having live track records since 2011. Finvex's AUM amounted to nearly 2B EUR at its prime, and beyond the indices, it also offered structured products such as autocalls. FinSphere, on the other hand, is the tech branch of Finvex, which provides investment and decision support tools based on ESG criteria and impact scores. • Assisted the launch of new products (i.e. FinSphere) all along the value chain: idea generation, backtesting, data sourcing, legal documents, production and distribution. • Performed quantitative research with a focus on sustainable equities. • Developed libraries in R and Python dedicated to factor investing and portfolio construction. • Developed an investment platform dedicated to ESG using R Shiny. • Developed ESG strategies as well as multi-objective optimization tools for impact investing. • Elaborated sustainable investment universes for impact investing. • Automated the collection and updating of data from Eikon Reuters (Refinitiv) and Factset using Python and Excel. • Monthly/quarterly rebalancing of indices with over 1B EUR AUM (as of November 2020). • Strategies Validation (from April 2020 and onwards) • Performance reporting and interpretation.

Coty is one of the world's largest beauty companies and the largest fragrance company, with over $9 billion in revenue for the fiscal year ending in June 2018. Coty acquired 41 beauty brands from Procter & Gamble in 2016, becoming the global leader in fragrance, the second largest company for hair color and styling products, and the third largest company for color cosmetics. The company operates three divisions: Consumer Beauty, which focuses on body care, color cosmetics, fragrances, and hair coloring and styling products; Luxury, for luxury cosmetic, fragrance, and skin care products; and Professional Beauty, which services beauty salon and nail salon professionals. Coty's mission is to "celebrate and liberate the diversity of beauty". As part of this end-of-studies internship, my main project is to develop an analysis and visualization service based on deep neural networks models for the Products & Sensory Insights team. • Developed a qualitative research tool deployed on AWS aiming to extract and analyze feedback from consumers using audio sources. • Created a vocabulary-specific french language dataset. • Designed and implemented an architecture to minimize transcription error. • Designed an architecture for the study of prosody. • Implemented the tool as an API usable on the company's intranet.

The Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique (LRI) is a joint Research Unit between University of Paris-Sud and CNRS. The lab' is present in numerous national-scale and international-scale projects, funded by the National Research Agency, Digiteo and the European Union. Thus, the research unit also has a strong publishing activity with more than 2000 articles published between 2008 and 2013. • Developed a centralized mathematical model for the pricing optimization of electric vehicles charging stations on long-distance travels. The project was a collaboration between EDF, the Laboratoire Informatique d’Avignon and the Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique (Orsay) as part of the Programme Gaspard Monge pour les Mathématiques et l’Optimisation (https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-03005111/). • Developed and implemented a resolution method based on Intersection Cuts. • Proposed a decentralized model (Nash-Stackelberg equilibrium)
