As a SAP BW/BI consultant, I have mainly worked with the following SAP products: SAP BW, HANA, BW4HANA, SAP Business Objects (passed SAP certification), SAP Lumira, SAP Analytics Cloud (passed SAP certification). In addition to these products, I sometimes had to use my skills in: SQL (building CDS View and Calculation view), Java (development of extensions for SAP Lumira), Python/R (visualization in SAP Analytics Cloud). During my work, I had to solve the following tasks: Collection of customer requirements; Analysis of requirements, search for standard methods (implemented in SAP software) for extracting data from the source system; Development of data extraction methods in cases where extraction is impossible by standard methods; Organization of the data warehouse landscape (star-scheme), automatic loading into the warehouse, various levels of data cleaning, calculation of additional indicators (ETL); Providing access to data from various BI systems (bex-query, calculation view, live data connection), including solving issues of organizing various levels of security and authentication when accessing data; Building marts and reports (on-premise and cloud); Maintaining project documentation (Confluence), as well as organizing user training.
