Throughout my career at Applied Materials, I led and contributed to several significant projects aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making within the organization. These key projects not only enhanced operational effectiveness but also fostered my professional growth and learning experiences: • Workplace Safety Management System: I developed a purpose-built contractor management platform that streamlined the submission and analysis of critical safety data. This system enabled real-time reporting and categorization of on-site incidents, consolidating all safety and performance information in a single repository. The analytics dashboard improved understanding of potential risks, allowing for targeted corrective actions and enhanced workplace safety. • Packaging Optimization: I worked on automating the decision-making process for packaging new products. By leveraging predictive models, we streamlined the packaging process, ensuring optimal packaging for each product based on its unique attributes, significantly reducing storage space and logistics costs. • Wafer Thickness Prediction: This project involved developing a predictive model for the thickness of silicon wafers, essential for improving yield and reducing material waste. Precision modelling ensured the correct thickness was applied across different wafer layers. • Wafer Map Defect Classifier: I contributed to a classification model that detected and categorized defects on wafer maps based on their position and shape, enhancing the quality control process by identifying defects early in the manufacturing cycle.

Risk Analyst

AIG At AIG, I analysed business prospects in the commercial property, energy, and engineering sectors using catastrophe data models and financial loss models. My evaluations examined financial details and risk exposures across various dimensions, including office spaces, production units, inventory warehouses, and natural resource sites. I modelled comprehensive year-over-year loss summaries to create analytical reports that helped industry experts gauge potential risks. • I engaged with senior management globally to enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) and business pipelines, tailoring these to each country’s safety and regulatory protocols. • Selected as a top candidate, I represented the India Centre of Excellence onsite in key US cities—New York, Boston, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and California—where I collaborated with Fortune 500 executives to evaluate operational processes, conduct risk assessments, and implement structured safety protocols for high-profile facilities. • Additionally, I developed safety plans, conducted drills to mitigate risks from natural catastrophes and fire perils, and implemented a structured program for new hires, along with cross-training sessions for existing employees to enhance performance without compromising quality.
