I joined ECI in STMS team as Java developer. This is also telecom company and STMS is a Java based management application which is used to communicate to multiple Chassis(containing cards, routers, mux/demux) built by ECI. STMS has Java Swing based UI so I got to work on Java Swing and it used EJB and Hibernate at the Server side. On the protocol side, I got to learn about CORBA while working in ECI.

Sonus was my first company and I was hired as java developer. I was part of EMS(Element Management System) team which was responsible to build UI based tools using which a user can communicate/configure different network elements of Sonus products offerings. I learnt about protocols(SNMP, Netconf) and Unix utilities along with doing java development for EMS software.
