Intensive full-time, nine month software development boot camp focusing on Java software engineering using Amazon Web Services technologies. The program culminates in a web based capstone project designed to emulate working using real world teamwork, using Agile development values with the Scrum framework. ● Applied computer science concepts, including software design, algorithms, data structures, interpreting technical requirements, problem-solving, and object-oriented design via group and individual projects. ● Created and modified back end server side software in Java modeling real world problems. ● Practiced efficiency and scalability via threading and caching. ● Utilized Git & GitHub for source code/version control, creating and reviewing pull requests, resolving merge conflicts, using project boards, and issue tracking. ● Exercised building and debugging software applications using AWS services such as CloudFormation, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, and SAM. ● Utilized PlantUML to design new and document existing software. ● Practiced testing with the JUnit and Mockito testing frameworks. ● Implemented dependency injection with the Dagger framework.
