Led data-driven decision making in launching the services by targeting the right demographics to maximize revenue. Developed a model to predict the average value of total cart and individual items in the cart to optimize inventory at different locations. Analyzed raw data and transformed it into meaningful information using statistical techniques such as bivariate, univariate analysis, and outlier treatment. Performed end to end data analysis starting from data scraping, cleaning, manipulating, model development, deployment, and visualization leading to actionable inputs. Developed various machine learning models using LR, SVM, RF, GBR and XGBoost; selected XGBoost model based on lower RMSE to predict the sales. Implemented XGBoost model by tuning hyperparameters using Grid Search and achieved an RMSE of 14.2%. Marketing team leveraged the insights from this analysis to partner with vendors to launch the services in the location. Performed a demand forecast for different items in Excel using historical data and Excel functions and achieved an MAPE of 13%. Insights from the above data analysis led to a business strategy resulting in 25% higher efficiency.
