Collaborated with a team of 5+ engineers to update the OHack website and Quill Registration System for the 2024 OHack Arizona Hackathon. Used Codeium to modify Dockerfiles for migration of Opportunity Hack’s Flask backend and Quill to fly.io, reducing costs and improving performance. Updated Quill’s UI and backend with HTML, Node.js, and AngularJS, and manually tested features to ensure 100% compliance with OHack’s requirements on user profile registration. Enabled peer recognition by developing and manually testing a TypeScript Slackbot using a Python backend service using Flask that integrates Firestore for data storage and management. Ensured maintainable, defect-free code by reviewing Pull Requests on GitHub.
