• Designed and developed APIs to modernize the legacy system backend, that created fast, reliable, and secure reports for the Wells Fargo leasing source application. • Designed a backend system with a performance increment upto 80%, to upload, verify and process bulk meter reads directly from a file to database and automate the process of segregating reads with errors and mapping them to the UI for correction. • Reduced response time of high volume data by up to 5x by developing APIs using RESTful microservices, Java 8, Spring Boot, and oracle SQL. • Took ownership of existing codebases and conducted code reviews to improve efficiency, reusability, and maintainability, and testing standards using JUnit and Mockito. • Worked with a cross-functional team of business analysts, engineers, and technical support to define project scope and list performance limitations of the legacy application.
