Cultivated and maintained various cell lines. Infected confluent cells with diverse viruses and collected the infected cells. Assisted the scientists in various laboratory procedures, including DNA extraction (miniprep and hispeed midiprep), gel electrophoresis, electroporation, transformation, and colony PCR. Prepared various laboratory solutions and reagents as needed.

Project: ex vivo characterization of prostate cancer in the tumour microenvironment. Assisted the supervisor in the passage and maintenance of various cell lines. Conducted ex vivo experiments on prostate biopsies. Performed immunohistochemistry (IHC) and collected the samples for data analysis.
