My role is to design electrical circuits for robots built for drug discovery and diagnostics labs' automation. In addition to, analyzing the electrical requirements for each system/robot and performing the required calculations. I then have to translate my design into a PCB using eCAD tool. This includes creating custom Electrical library's as per the design requirements as well as, coordinating with mechanical engineers and software developers to ensure system integrity. Finally, I have to prepare designs for manufacturing and provide necessary documentation including BOM, PCB gerber files and PCB drawings
