Member of four teams in Gameplay Systems during my 3+ year tenure at Mojang Studios, each with different coding responsibilities for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and covering multiple platforms. Regular communication and coordination with team members and contractors. • Fixed bugs and crashes within Minecraft that negatively impacted player experience or programmer expectations. • Refactored code for testing and developer modification. • Implemented new components for data-driven mobs, covering character sounds and game events. • Developed unit and server tests. • Performed manual tests in daily dev work to verify functionality. • Wrote GitHub pull requests for developers to review, and reviewed other developers’ pull requests. • Added functions to serialize and deserialize the render registry to and from string and JSON formats. • Prototyped OpenXR into bgfx graphics API within RenderDragon, allowing player to view game in stereoscopic view through VR headset.

Worked on multiple projects that aimed to increase security of data sent by clients within the cable industry. • Blockchain research project: Worked on a team to create a research application to store transactions securely on blockchain data structure. Programmed front-end GUI w/HTML, CSS & JavaScript; back-end database w/MySQL. • Researched and compared different implementations of blockchains. • DDoS Information Sharing System: Developed a system based on source code of CRITs to share information about DDoS attacks between different ISP’s. Coded in Python and HTML. • Updated Certificate Portal: Modified website front-end and back-end code for Kyrio (a subsidiary of CableLabs). Wrote front end in HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. Modified MySQL database.
