Worked on a project 'Business Management System (BMS)' of Cummins. The distributors use the BMS application (Business Management System) for their business functions. This application helps the distributor perform the day-to-day sales and service of the Cummins engines and parts to the end customers. I have experience developing server-side database management system (DBMS) integrated applications, maintaining security infrastructure and best practices in a distributed system environment. My role as a Consultant includes Requirement gathering, Feasibility Analysis, Design solutions, Documentation, Development, Testing, and Deployment of the change requests and enhancements required by Cummins. This ERP Software is based on Oracle Forms and Reports 11g. Currently, I am working on an upgrade project where all database instances, application server instances, etc. for the whole North America, Canada, Southern Plains, and Caribbean Regions are getting upgraded from Oracle 11g version to 12c along with re-establishing all the integrations with multiple Interfaces. It consists of more than 150 Application servers, 75+ Database servers & 20+ Interfaces. The current project also includes building a new Disaster Recovery environment which will enable the business to have minimal downtime in any unplanned circumstances.
