As a member of the Integrations Team, our core focus revolved around facilitating harmonious interactions between Talkdesk and diverse Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, encompassing Salesforce, Zendesk, SAP and growing with every release. Our technology stack comprised Kotlin and the Spring Framework for robust backend development. A cornerstone of our methodology is Test-Driven Development (TDD), assuring the robustness and reliability of our integrations. The automation pipeline was orchestrated by Jenkins, ensuring consistent and efficient build, test, and deployment processes, all contained within Docker containers for streamlined management. For asynchronous communication and data synchronization, we utilized RabbitMQ and Kafka, ensuring the reliable processing of events and messages. Git served as our version control system, facilitating collaborative development and codebase management.
