At Verizon I’m part of the Fintech and innovation branch of the company. Part of my work is to implement efficient, maintainable and reusable custom views, integrate the different projects with the different services that Verizon offers, and create POCs for the new projects.

Android Developer

Beelinguapp•  September 2017 - February 2019

Beelinguapp is a language teaching service for users from all over the world. There I developed essential parts of the app such as the news section, the new login flow, the glossary, among others. Implemented different UIs that were later deployed live as part of A/B tests and used Crashlytics to help lower the amount of crashes in the app. Also worked in the changes required by Google to be part of the Android Excellence collection for education apps in 2018.

“Cigna Coach” was an interactive lifestyle coaching app that helped people have a better lifestyle by improving in areas such as sleep, food, weight, stress, and exercise. At Cigna I was under the mentorship of the lead developer and I was actively involved in the development of functions of the app such as the questionnaires and the reminders section.
