    I majored in Physics at Occidental college and quickly became enamored with programming. During my freshman year, I founded the Engineering Club and began programming arduino and propellor microcontrollers for various projects- weather balloons, autonomous RC cars, etc. Experiencing the many applications of software first-hand inspired me to take classes in Mathematica, Java, and Python. Due to a skiing accident, I took a medical leave of absence that lasted a year and a half. Fortunately, I fully recovered and finished my degree in September, 2021.
