Machine learning in biology - under PhD candidate Giovanni Palla. • Developed the functions `read.visium()`, `read.vizgen()` and `read.nanostring()` in SquidPy (Version 1.2.3). • Open-source contribution: Developed, documented and maintained SquidPy, SquidPy notebooks with contribution to ScanPy. • Spatially resolved transcriptomics: Integrated spatial data generated by various companies (NanoString technologies, 10x genomics, Vizgen) to fit AnnData. • Tutored the course ‘Introduction to single-cell RNA-sequencing data analysis with ScanPy’.
