• Successfully completed groundwork project after attaining the highly selective (10% acceptance) National Science Foundation Grant to hire PhD applicants to scale research • Built entire technology stack from the ground up for a new university research lab as the solo engineer. Research project consisted of deploying a multitude of physical sensors that collect large amounts of environmental data for research, analysis, and visualization. • Design, develop, implement, and maintain SQL databases to manage incoming data • Customize back-end software solutions that automatically insert data from sensors to SQL database • Create analytical data visualizations and present insights using Python, Excel, R, and Tableau • Deliver front-end web portals for both the research team and public to host the live data visualizations • Build custom application that allows researchers to query the database, perform data analytics, and create data visualizations that are exported into an Excel file
