While attending the University of Washington, I began my education with the intent of studying aeronautical engineering but quickly fell in love with software development at the end of my freshman year after taking an introductory Java class. After finding my passion, but before being admitted into the Informatics program at UW, I began my personal education outside of the University, enrolling in many online courses, as well as a coding boot camp in Bellevue for the summer of 2018. With the three full stacks of web development that I learned at the Coding Dojo, I was able to get involved with a number of different startups in the Seattle area as a full-stack software engineer while also continuing my secondary education.
