• Schedule Hub Application - It’s a back-end application which has scheduling capabilities against some fixed resources. It helps allocate and manage various resource capacities. Scheduling appointments based on the resource capacity. Providing visibility into resource utilization. • Designed Schedule hub from scratch using microservices architecture with performance, scalability and stability. • Designed services with generalized API contracts and data models so that the service could be easily expanded for consumption by different client systems. • It has the ability to set resource capacity at a location level, pre-populate holidays for these configured locations, set exceptions for particular days as per the availability of resources, schedule single and recurring appointments, see conflicts for a particular date and time when capacity resources are modified, auto schedule appointments using events to provide visibility to the store, communicating with users about appointments using email or phone calls. • Tech stack used - Java, Micronaut, MongoDB, Apache Kafka
