About

OPC(Open Programming Contest) is a series of programming contests organised by MNNIT Allahabad on monthly basis. The contest is aimed at testing the programming skills of students of MNNIT and to improve upon the areas where they are weak in.

Note - This contest is designed for first year and second year students only!

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.
  • Code directly from our platform, which supports over 30 languages. Learn more here.
  • Contest consists of 6 problems of varying difficulty.
  • Any kind of cheating or plagiarism is prohibited.

Scoring

  • ACM-ICPC styled contest.
  • No partial marking will be there.
  • For each wrong submission there will be penalty of 10 minutes.
  • Participants are ranked according to the most problems solved. Ties will be broken by the sum of time of first correct submission of all the problems solved.
