I am helping to develop web applications that help employees navigate the path of their careers within and outside of Cisco. I am working to standardize and modernize the application portfolio of the organization through enabling Single Sign-On and zero-trust functionality. I am focused on enforcing security-first development and deployment within the organization for both in-house and third-party applications. I focused on Spring applications within the organization that help to facilitate HR resources and functions predominantly involving a company and personnel acquisition. Spearheaded the development of a standardized job request tool using Microsoft Power Automate, which streamlined workflows for over 50 cross-functional teams, reducing request processing time by an average of 40%.

I worked with project managers that allowed me to work autonomously and interacted with people from around the globe to succeed in this role. I worked on the company SharePoint site to make their international Technical Support contacts table to be sortable and searchable. I created a pamphlet on different Cisco devices to assist with their WFH and Hybrid transition during the Covid Pandemic. I did trend analysis for their Tech Support tickets.

I assisted in the development of in-house applications using the VB.Net framework, including a tool that would pull energy usage information from homes that opted into the program. I created four applications that added to the company’s production schedule to assist in the data collection and storage for future ventures.

I trained in different tactics of getting through to people and open communication with people of different backgrounds through building trust and rapport. I was responsible for maintaining approximately $800,000 in weapons and equipment. I performed daily inventories and Serial Number Sensitive Items inventories. I assisted in the transfer of approximately $1,500,000 in lateral and equipment turn-ins.
