GSIH is a 24-hour hackathon organized by Goldman Sachs, a leading global investment bank. We look forward to challenging the best minds of the country on real-world problems that we solve in the realms of computer science (CS), and quantitative aptitude. The hackathon will challenge you on various topics. For example; data structures, algorithms, optimization, data science, etc. You can implement solutions in a programming environment of your choice that would run on real-world/simulated data sets.



APPLICATION DETAILS:
Registrations for the program start from September 9, 2024. Last date to apply is September 22, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:
All sophomores, pre-final and final year students from engineering courses. (Please see the list of colleges to check your eligibility)

FORMAT:
24 hour online coding contest for individual participants.

Process & Timelines

Hackathon:
Candidates with valid registration will get to attempt the hackathon where they choose to attempt either CS or Quant in 24 hours on September 28 and 29.

Mentoring:
Virtual mentoring will be provided to shortlisted students on October 18.

Finale at GS Campus:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to GS campus for the finale and will stand a chance to win prizes

Application Process

  • Sign up for the contest by creating a HackerRank community account if you haven't already. If you already have an account, simply log in.
  • Complete your profile by entering your personal details such as college name, roll number, graduation year, etc.
  • Review and confirm the "Declaration".
  • Submit your information.
  • You will receive an invitation to participate via your registered email.
  • Look out for a reminder email 1-2 days before the contest.

Rules & Eligibility

The contest will run from Saturday, September 28 12 PM IST to Sunday, September 29 12 PM IST.

This is an individual contest, and you are required to register individually. Please note that each participant should have a HackerRank profile to participate.
