  • Registration Open Date : 17th May

Eligibility Criteria

Anyone who meets the following Eligibility Criteria are encouraged to apply:    

 

  • Individuals who identify as female (she / her / hers), with a minimum 3+ years of development experience in the field of Software Engineering.
     
  • Aspirants with less than 3 years of development experience are not encouraged to take this challenge.
     
  • Only individual participation is allowed.

Rules

  • Participation in the challenge is subject to the sole discretion of the organizer.
     
  • The organizer reserves the right to determine the final ranks in the leaderboard.
     
  • Any case of cheating will result in disqualification from the challenge.
     
  • Challenge Login Window: You can login to the challenge only between 3 pm and 3.30 pm IST on 22nd June.
     
  • Challenge Duration: Upon logging in, you will have 90 minutes to complete the challenge.

I am attempting a HackerRank challenge for the first time. How can I prepare for a smooth experience?

In addition to preparing well before your challenge, it is recommended that you go through the following checklist for a smooth experience.

  • Install and use the latest versions of Google Chrome or Firefox browsers to take your HackerRank challenges. For more information, check Browser recommendations for the best experience.
  • Ensure you have an uninterrupted internet and power supply to avoid problems during the challenge.
  • Use a web camera-enabled computer to take a proctored challenge. If your challenge is proctored, you will be notified in your invitation email. For more information, check Taking Proctored Challenges.
  • Ensure that you do not take part in any malpractices, as this can get captured in your report and may lead to disqualification from subsequent rounds.

I did not receive any mail that I have completed my challenge. Is there any chance that I did not submit the challenge?

Irrespective of whether you receive an email confirmation, your attempt will get submitted as soon as you hit the submit button or when the timer stops. 

I have already submitted my challenge. When will I get my result?

Salesforce will review your attempt and will get back to you with your result on 30th June'24. We request you to be patient during this period.

What is the format of this challenge?

"Trailblazing Women Coding Challenge" is an online contest powered by the HackerRank coding platform. This challenge will require participants to solve three coding problems of varying complexities in 90 mins. 

 

  • The challenge will consist of  1 Easy, 1 Medium and 1 Hard problem solving coding question 
  • Recommended Time for Questions : Easy question - Approx. 15 minutes, Medium question - Approx. 30 minutes and Hard question - Approx. 45 minutes.

Who is eligible to participate?

This challenge is open for all women coders in the Software Engineering community from India, looking to test their skills or interested in opportunities within Salesforce.

Do we sign up as an individual or a team?

This contest is for individual participants.

When is the challenge and how do I sign up for the challenge?

The challenge will happen on 22/06/2024. Interested candidates can click on the "Register" button at top of this page and fill out the details.

Will I receive a confirmation upon registration?

Yes, registered candidates will be screened, and shortlisted candidates will get an email notification to their registered email id about entry into the challenge.
