Welcome to Euroclear's virtual event, Code it Clear - Euroclear hosted challenge! We're seeking talented developers with relevant experience who are passionate about technology and eager to make a significant impact. This is your chance to shine, showcase your skills, creativity, and innovative thinking. You'll participate in stimulating activities that will challenge and inspire you.


We appreciate diverse perspectives and are excited to see the unique solutions you'll contribute. The results will be based on the accuracy of your code and the time taken to complete the challenges.


Successful participants will be invited to our Krakow office on Wednesday, May 14th or Thursday, May 15th to experience Euroclear firsthand and engage in discussions. If you're interested, this will also be an opportunity for a job interview, with the exciting possibility of receiving an offer on the spot. Don't forget to check our FAQ.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a developer (front-end, back-end or full-stack)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • Enthusiastic about technology and eager to make a significant impact.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Based within working distance of Krakow (hybrid).
  • Must have no current professional affiliation with Euroclear

Rules

  • Participation in the event is subject to the sole discretion of the organizer.
  • The organizer reserves the right to determine the final ranks in the leaderboard.
  • Participants are expected to complete the challenge using their own skills and knowledge without the assistance of external tools, such as AI, that could undermine the integrity of their work. Any instance of dishonesty or rule violation will result in disqualification from the event.
  • Registration Deadline: All participants must register by May 6th, 11:59 PM (CET).
  • Challenge Duration: The challenge will run for 24 hours, starting from May 7th, 12:01 AM (CET) to May 7th, 11:59 PM (CET).
  • Challenge Login Window: You can log in to the challenge on May 7th, with the last login allowed at 11:30 PM (CET)

Candidates located within commuting distance of Krakow with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end, back-end, or full-stack development are eligible to participate.

I have received an invitation for a challenge. How shall I proceed?

Typically, challenges are the first step in a company's candidate screening process. If you have received an invite from Euroclear, log in to the challenge and attempt the questions within the time limit to qualify for the next step of the recruitment process.

I am attempting a HackerRank challenge for the first time. How can I prepare for a smooth experience?

In addition to preparing well before your challenge, it is recommended that you go through the following checklist for a smooth experience.

  • Install and use the latest versions of Google Chrome or Firefox browsers to take your HackerRank challenges. For more information, check Browser recommendations for the best experience .
  • Ensure you have an uninterrupted internet and power supply to avoid problems during the challenge.

Euroclear will review your attempt and get back to you with your results by Monday, May 12th, 2025.

How much time do I have to complete the challenge, and do I need to complete it in one sitting?

Participants have a 24-hour window to complete the challenge before the 7th of May, 11:59 PM. The estimated time required to complete the challenge is approximately 2 hours. You may start at any time within the 24-hour period and manage your time as needed to complete the challenge. The 2 hours do not need to be consecutive; you can take breaks and resume as needed.
