Design and develop software for the Fixed Income Portfolio Analysis suite. Front-end work includes UI development using modern web technologies. Back-end is implemented using C++, Python, web services, and various database technologies. Working on a scalable distributed system for updating thousands of databases with daily analytics. The update mechanism consists of: * Retrieval of quotes, terms & conditions, custom settings for hundreds of thousands of securities from various sources * Parallel creation of request documents for a calculation server * Retrieving calculation results, validation, post-processing, and storing analytics in the databases * Error-checking, notification, and fail-over mechanisms to ensure timely completion of updates Also working on a monitoring/management/visualization system with a web interface for the distributed update system
