      I am using the formula slope = r(standard.dev of p)/(standard.dev of s) and I am getting answer as 0.80 . Is this correct ?

        You need r, not R2 to put into that formula.

          The regression coefficient of Y on X is byx = (r σx / σy)

          So won't it be slope = r(standard.dev of s)/(standard.dev of p)
