The event is exclusively for students, and you have to be registered at the Codefest website to be eligible for the prizes and make sure that you provide your Hackerrank handle in the edit/update profile section.

So make full use of this opportunity to hone your coding skills. Prizes worth ₹7,000 up for grabs!

is the annual coding festival of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, which consists of a plethora of events ranging from Algorithmic, Cyber-security, Development to machine learning. Participation is open to all.

There is absolutely no registration fees and a lot of prizes to be won!

Rules

Problem Setters

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
