About

Did you know that the compilers which you use today were the invention of Admiral Grace Murray Hopper, one of the brightest women in tech!

Just like her, we have a lot of bright women in tech but the world still faces gender disparity which is a growing concern in the field of computer science.

To build a world where all women can thrive in tech, IIIT Vadodara is proud to announce CodeHers-5.0, a competitive programming contest - Just. For. Her. A 3-hour coding contest that aims to encourage more women to rise and showcase their coding and deciphering skills.

Every year CodeHers brings together many women in technology who code to win, to learn and to inspire other women in tech! Oh, and did we mention that you are welcome irrespective of your coding level? Join us on 19th march in this 5th edition of Codehers!

  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
