Hola Amigos! Ideathon, Codefest'19 invites all the Tech Geeks to show off their skills on a global platform. For the first time in History, Codefest provides students with an opportunity to tackle an Industry-Based Engineering Problem in a totally real world scenario that comes from the well known firm, Cisco. Renowned across the world as a leader in IT and networking industries, they assist companies and provide their expertise to transform how people connect, communicate and collaborate.

The problem aims to engage engineers, hackers, beginners and experienced alike in creative exploration of a real world problem faced by experts of Cisco. This contest will let you learn and understand the importance of various roles and ramifications in the field of Data Analysis. Total Prize Money: INR 50000

  • World 1st: INR 20000/-
  • World 2nd: INR 12000/-
  • World 3rd: INR 10000/-
  • IIT BHU 1st: INR 8000/-

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  • You may use language of your choice to solve the Problem Statement.

Scoring

  • There will no Dynamic Leaderboard running maintained during the duration of Ideathon.
  • Rather, the participants would be required to submit their Implemented and fully Documented approach and along with a document explaining their Idea Submission in a GitHub Repository.
  • The submissions will be manually evaluated by the experts of Cisco and shortlisted team will also be given a chance to present their ideas in front of the Cisco Team working on the above problem.
