  • The contest is open to all CodeBirders of UIT Burdwan.
  • Participants must register on Hackerrank and join the Code Wiz 4.0 to be eligible for prizes.
  • The contest will have a duration of 2 Hours starting from 09:00 AM on August 18, 2023.
  • The problems in the contest will cover various topics in Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Participants must attempt all problems within the given time frame.
  • Any form of plagiarism or cheating is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
  • Contestants should only use the programming languages allowed on the Hackerrank platform.
  • The decision of the contest organizers and judges is final and binding.
  • The top three winners will receive hard copy certificates and exciting prizes.
  • All participants will receive a digital certificate of participation.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • A participant’s score depends on the number of test cases a participant’s code submission successfully passes.
  • If a participant submits more than one solution per challenge, then the participant’s score will reflect the highest score achieved. In a game challenge, the participant's score will reflect the last code submission.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
