About

This is the online qualifier Round 1 of BIT Code November Round. The top 3 students from each batch will be selected first. Additionally, the top 13 students overall will qualify for the next round, regardless of batch.

The purpose of these programming contests is to foster learning through competition. Therefore, we kindly ask you to avoid cheating.

Prizes

  • T-Shirt: Rank 1 will receive a special T-shirt swag.
  • Medals: The top performer from each batch will be awarded a medal in the final.
  • Certificates: All finalists will be awarded certificates.

  • The prizes will be awarded after the completion of the final round.

Rules

  • The creator of this contest is solely responsible for setting and communicating the eligibility requirements associated with prizes awarded to participants, as well as for procurement and distribution of all prizes. The contest creator holds HackerRank harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, awards, settlements, orders, or fines.

  • All current BIT Sindri students from batches 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 are only eligible.
  • Google Form Submission: All participants must fill out the provided Google form before attempting the contest. Failure to do so will result in their participation not being counted. Google Form Link: https://forms.gle/qDPrVynnsSsPZdin8
  • Cheating, plagiarism, or using unfair means (including using AI tools or copying from others) is strictly prohibited.
  • Violators will be immediately disqualified.
  • HnCC reserves the right to disqualify any participant for misconduct.

Scoring

  • Each challenge has a pre-determined score.
  • You can submit solutions as many times as you'd like, there are no penalties for incorrect submissions.
  • Points for a question will be awarded only if all test cases are passed.
  • Participants are ranked by score. If two or more participants achieve the same score, then the tie is broken by the total time taken to submit the last solution resulting in a higher score
