• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Exposure of database designing
• Decent experience with recent versions MySQL and MS-SQL.
• Database Backup and restoration.
• Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB, MyISAM and Aurora.
• Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL and MS-SQL Server
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
• Knowledge of limitations in MySQL and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Prepare database documentations and specifications
• Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Expertise in analysis and maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
• MySQL and MS-Server L1/L2 support.

• B.Tech / MCA with 4-6 years of relevant experience

• Good experience on Database engine MySQL and RDBMS
• Superior problem solving abilities and strong analytical thinking

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
