Lower secondary students will be participating in this event.

MRSM Code Wars - Rules and Regulations

1. The questions will be given on the day of the competition through provided URL.
2. Questions are based on Python programming (direct and HOTS). However, participants can answer in any programming language.
3. The problems are in an open book exam format. Participants can bring their notes/reference books in order to accomplish the task provided.
4. No plagiarism is allowed and candidates may be disqualified.
5. The problems may involve input/output function, error detection, loop etc. as covered in the syllabus.
6. The use of AI is prohibited.
7. The problems are to be solved within 2 hours.
8. The projects are assessed on the number, accuracy, functionality of task completed and agility.
9. Participants can use the online notes during this session.
10. Participants cannot use collaborative notes such as Microsoft 365, Online Drive, etc.
11. Each participant must answer the questions via the provided PC.
12. Participants are not allowed to share PC.
13. Although the internet is accessible, students are not allowed to use any device that allows them to communicate with other participants or outsiders.
