My work include keeping myself updated with the latest research in the field of deep learning, natural language processing and computer vision. Implement model/architecture proposed in the research papers into production use case. Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate the new models (architectures) into production pipeline and creating endpoint API’s services which can be used by other developers and researchers for their work.

R&D Intern

During this internship, I worked as a developer. I worked on 5G synthetic data generation and on an unsupervised Market Customer Segmentation problem. Developed a synthetic 5G Data Generation Tool from scratch using python faker library. Performed Data Visualisation and Feature Engineering on the synthetic customers data. Implemented various unsupervised machine learning algorithms like KNN, K-Means, DBSCAN and Gaussian Mixture Model for Market Customer Segmentation Problem. The algorithm was trained on 10000 customer data, which was later deployed in a pipeline and tested for 2000 new customer at run time. I worked on deploying synthetic data of the customers in Cassandra which I setup in a docker container. This database is then fetched using flask Restful API to serve angular based dashboard for analytics.

Summer Intern

Here, as a summer intern, I worked on a problem statement “Logistics Operation and Supply Chain Management”. In this project, the main task was to develop a framework for optimizing logistics and supply chain in the oil and gas sector (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream). Our focus was on optimizing downstream. Facilitating efficient planning, execution, tracking and logistics of transportation of personnel/material between terminals and rigs/platforms. These were the few important parameters that were taken into consideration while proposing the solution.
